I am on my way

     Well, I realize I have not posted until now because everything has been so crazy trying to get ready.  The end of January was full of leaving Bethany and all of my wonderful people there.  Then February so far has found me trying to get my possessions settled here in Iowa.  I haven't even had enough time to just appreciate friends and family.  (Is there ever enough time for that?)
     I will be leaving the US tomorrow, Saturday.  I will fly from Des Moines, IA to Chicago and from there it will be 14 hours straight to Seoul, South Korea.  The plane will leave at almost midnight from Chicago then I will cross the international date line so I will land on Monday.  It will be a very short Sunday.  I am not really looking forward to the plane trip and sitting in a small space for 14 hours so keep me in your prayers on Sunday!
     I am scheduled to land in Korea at 5am on Monday morning and I will go to a hotel where I will be staying for a few days.  The apartment the school has for me has a teacher in it for another week, so I won't be able to move in for a few days.  After an hour or two at the hotel, I will go to the school at 9am and start my day!  I hope I can sleep well on the plane so that I will not have too much jet lag because my schedule doesn't seem to have recovery time built in.
     For the past few days I have been very busy getting glasses and contacts, having an emergency trip to the dentist and trying to sell my car (more trouble than I expected).  Tonight I just need to finish packing and make sure I have everything I need for a year.  I don't expect to ever be quite ready.  Ah, well, here's to winging it!
     I miss you all already.
